Air Fried Brussels Sprouts can be served all year long but are a more prevalent side dish in the fall and winter.
This was inspired by other Frigidaire Air Fry Range Recipes: Air Fried Broccoli, Air Fried Cauliflower, and Air Fried Baby Red Potatoes.
Ingredients

- Medium sized fresh Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
- Avocado Oil
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Granulated Garlic
See the recipe card for quantities.
Instructions
To start trim the ends off of the Brussels sprouts and remove the outer leaves or any wilted leaves. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half and place them in a medium-size mixing bowl. Preheat the range using the air fry function set to 375°.

Next, pour the avocado oil into the bowl. I prefer to use avocado oil because it has a high smoke point and is perfect for cooking at higher heat, you can also use extra virgin olive oil. Toss to coat the florets in oil then sprinkle on the seasonings and toss again to distribute evenly.

Prepare a large sheet pan lined with foil for a drip pan. Place the Frigidaire Ready Cook Air Fry Tray on top of the sheet pan and dump out the Brussels Sprouts and spread them out evenly. Be sure not to overcrowd the tray it’s important for air to be able to flow around the food for the best & crispiest results.

Finally, place the Ready Cook Air Fry Tray on the 3rd position of the range with the foil-lined drip pan on the rack below to catch any drips or food. Air Fry For 12-15 minutes shaking once at the halfway point.

Tip: Most ovens with the Air Fry function don’t recommend pre-heating when using the air fry setting but I usually allow the oven to preheat for 5-10 minutes.
Substitutions
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil-Substitute avocado oil for extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to use an oil that has a high smoking poing when air frying to avoid smoke.
- Spices/Seasonings– Customize the flavor of air fried brussel sprouts with other herbs and seasonings like chili powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes parmesean cheese,
- Lemon Juice-If you don’t like balsamic vinegar use fresh organic lemon juice insetaed for a tangy twist.
Variations
If you don’t yet have an oven/range with the air fry feature you can prepare the Brussels sprouts in the same manner and spread them out on a sheet pan and roast them in the oven at 350° for 20-15 minutes or until tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Storage
Air-fried Brussels sprouts can be stored in an air-tight container and reheated, however, they will lose their crispness when stored so it is recommended to enjoy them immediately after air frying.
Yes! Air frying Brussels sprouts is the perfect way to enjoy these tiny cabbage-like vegetables. Brussels sprouts are packed with vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, K, Folates, Calcium, Iron, and Potassium. Combined with a healthy fat like avocado oil or EVOO they are the healthy vegetable side dish to serve for dinner.
When air frying in a full-size air fry range heated to 375° halved Brussels sprouts take anywhere from 12-15 minutes to become tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. For whole Brussels sprouts increase cooking time by 5-8 minutes depending on the size.
