Crispy air fried chicken tenders coated in a sweet and spicy sauce just like the Winger’s restaurant without the lines or the prices! Whip these up in less time than you could go grab takeout.

Copycat Winger’s sticky fingers are a family favorite dinner recipe. Make the famous AMAZING sauce with just a few simple ingredients.
This was inspired by my other copycat recipes Air Fried Nashville Hot Chicken, Air Fried Beijing Beef, & Better Than Olive Garden Instant Pot Zuppa Toscana.
Ingredients

- Frozen Breaded Chicken Tenders (baked or air fried)
- Butter
- Franks Original Red Hot Sauce (don’t substiture it has to be Franks)
- Brown Sugar
- Water

Let’s Make Sticky Fingers
In the Frigidaire Air Fry Range air fry the frozen breaded chicken fingers at 400° for 18-20 minutes using the readycook air fry tray or bake them on a baking sheet according to the package instructions.
While the chicken is air frying prepare the sticky finger sauce.

In a medium saucepan add the butter and heat over medium heat until melted.

Add to the melted butter Franks hot sauce, brown sugar, and water.

Whisk to combine all the ingredients together.

Expect the sauce mixture to bubble as its cooking. Continue to whisk while it’s simmering over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes.

When the ingredients are fully combined and have reduced just slightly into a sauce consistency remove it from the heat.
Allow the sauce to cool a bit so it will stick to the chicken tenders.
When the chicken tenders are fully cooked use tongs or a spatula to place them in the sauce. Flip them over to coat them completely with the sticky sauce.

This amount of sticky sauce will coat approximately 8-10 medium chicken tenders. Double or triple the sauce recipes as needed to feed a larger crowd.
How To Serve Sticky Fingers
Serve homemade sticky fingers with air-fried steak fries, homemade air-fried french fries, air-fried tater tots, on top of a sticky finger salad or in a wrap. Sticky fingers pair perfectly with a side of ranch dressing.

Storage

Ingredients

Notes
Store leftover stick fingers in an air-tight container for up to 3 days. Heat leftovers in the microwave for 60-90 seconds. Leftover stick fingers a great on a salad or in a wrap.
